Measures to extend the life of dental handpiece

Before using the dental handpiece: 

 
Make sure the compressed air of the dental chair is free of water and oil;
Make sure the water of the dental chair is free of impurities;
Make sure the air pressure of the dental chair is below 40psi unless the manufacturer has special regulations;
Make sure the temperature of the handpiece has recovered to room temperature.

Use process:

 
Ensure that the air pressure is lower than 40psi;
Try not to use large-end burs and long burs;
do not use too large or too small burs;
Do not use severely worn burs, and prosthetic modifications) using high-speed handpieces. 
 

After using the dental handpieces:

 
Rinse the dental handpiece with detergent before sterilization;
The sterilization temperature should not exceed 135°C;
Do not leave the phone in the sterilizer overnight;
if lubricated after sterilization, just add a few drops of lubricating oil. 
 

Weekly maintenance:

 
Use a dental handpiece cleaner to clean the mandrel of the push dental handpiece. 
 

Quarterly maintenance:

 
Check the air dryer and water filter of the dental chair. 
 

Bearing replacement: 

 
Use an ultrasonic cleaner to clean the handpiece case before installing the bearing;
Rinse the handpiece case and clean the phone head after ultrasonic cleaning;
Replace O-rings, springs, fixing clips, and other components in time.
